Many Many Happy Returns.

When I met this girl, I never thought I will be writing a blog-post about her on her birthday. I'm happy for a friend like her. I want to write a lot about her. I don't want to reveal her identity though. All I will say is, she is unique and one hell of a friend.

Many Many Happy Returns On Your Birthday. May you have all happiness in this world and may all your dreams come true.

Hey, you arent supposed to spend too much time online. Go study for your exams.

Well, I’m it! I have been tagged by Always Happy of Dil ki Baat, Blog ke Saath! The basic rules of this tag is that I have to answer honestly the following whacky questions that he has come up with.
1. If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?

Way back in 2007, He asked me the most important question of my life and I answered 'No'. I wish I could go back to that moment and shout 'YES'.

2. What movie or TV character you think you resemble most in personality?

I have no idea. Sorry :D

3. What movie or TV character would you really like to be like?

Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar! Wow!

4. If you could push one person in the whole world off a cliff and get away with it, who would it be?

Someone who did hurt me a lot.

5. Name one habit you want to change in yourself.

My arrogance.

6. Describe yourself in one word.

7. Describe the person who named you in this meme in one word.

8. Why do you blog? Answer in one sentence.

I started blogging to make money out of adSense. Then when I started to writing, I felt its not about making money. Its soemthing more. And I love it.

9. Name at least 3 people to send this meme to then inform them.

MSM, Alcina, and Red.

10. Link back to the person who tagged you in this meme.

a.k.a ninu.

Finally, I'm done with my 10 days research. I think many people who were reading my blog for the past 10 days might be wondering what I'm talking about. In one of my previous post, I had said 'guys' follow / comment a blog if the author is a girl, no matter how good the content is.

As on March 31 2011, I had 37 followers and the average number of comments on my blog was 7 or 8 max. Now, since I changed my name to 'Ninu', I've got 49 followers and average number of comments is 15 minimum. And not just that. This stupid research helped me with something else too.

I'm sorry for those who actually commented and followed my blog thinking I'm Ninu. I didn't mean to offend or cheat you people.

I'm more than happy that I got a few new friends. One of them is very nice, one of them is very beautiful, one of them is very sarcastic, one of them just look for grammar mistakes in what we type, one of them is very professional, one of them is very childish, one of them writes poems about love though she is not in love, one of them is very young though she writes matured, and so on.

I would like to thank Red for her valuable suggestions. I think she got irritated the first time she knew the idea but I'm glad she gave me the bravest of all suggestions. I thank Gowthami for deleting my comments which I wrote on her blog, thanks to Ash for she understood what I'm up to. Many thanks to MSM for she gave me an award though she took it back later. I hope you will give me some award some day. Thanks to Alcina and Pria for they supported me. Thanks to Always Happy for she too supported me and eagerly waited for the results.

I just can't imagine if I earned 12 new followers in 10 days, what will be the case of those (girls) who have been blogging since years? ;)

PS: Many of you might be wondering if I'm following a blog just because the author is a girl. Yes, to be very honest. I guess I follow a couple of blogs (or more, I have no idea). I don't mind saying it here. I love to say the truth.

Anna Hazare - We all are with you.

The dream of India as a strong nation will not be realised without self-reliant, self-sufficient villages, this can be achieved only through social commitment & involvement of the common man.
- Anna Hazare

So, I've been reading a lot about him. But what it is all about? What is Lokpal Bill? No one has actually explained what it is all about. They just know its something to do with corruption. I received an email few hours back. I thought I would post it here. By now, I guess, everyone would have come to know all about it.

1. Who is Anna Hazare?

An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?

He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra. This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills. In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village. Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

3. What is he fighting for?

He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India. He is advocating for a Bil, The Lok Pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

4. So, is this a new thing?

In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).

5. OK. What is that he looking for?

The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed. Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the LOK PAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

6. What will happen when this bill is passed?

A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

7. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?

Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more. Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

8. What can YOU do?

Spread the message. Update status message, links, video, changing profile pics. Pray for his good health.

its all about perception.

In the above image, is the statue actually on her head? Of course not. Though it may look so. Its actually an illusion. The angle at which the photographer took the picture creates an illusion so that an onlooker feels the statue is on her head.

It all depends on the way you look at it, the way you perceive it. We may do something which may seem very right to us. It shouldn't possibly be right to someone else.

So, why am I saying all this now?

I don't understand why its always 'HE' who ditched 'HER'? Can't it be 'SHE' who ditched 'HIM'? They just don't care who is right and who is wrong.

All they do care is, IN THE PICTURE, the statue is on HER head.
