'I don't have anymore pics. Honestly.'

What can the above sentence mean?

bored to death and need help.

Guys, I need help.

Could you please suggest me some good novels to read? I got no work to do in office and I don't know what to do. Thought I will read some books.

I've been researching but I was not successful in coming up with some good novels. Would you mind to suggest some? I like psychological thrillers, murder mysteries, revenge, serial killers, suspense thrillers and maybe humor also.

I don't like romance, sci-fi, fantasies, horror, biographies. Please help me, will you?

Thanks.

PS: Sorry for the stupid post. I don't know. I was like, thinking and didn't know what to do. And I thought I'll ask my fellow bloggers. :)

best friend can be your best enemy - 4

November 6th 2007 4:00 PM

Kiran: Uncle, you wanted proof huh?
Dad: What is that you need, Kiran?
Kiran: Listen to this first…

He took his mobile and played a sound clip…

Kiran: Hey, how are you?
Asha: I’m fine.

Dad was stunned to hear Asha’s voice. He didn’t utter a word and kept listening.

K: How’s Anoop doing? Is he calling you these days?
A: He had called me before you called. He is doing good.
K: Okay. Tell me, how much do you love him?
A: I don’t know. I love him so much that I can’t think of missing him.
K: But he scolds you a lot.
A: Yes, that happens. Even I scold him a lot, if he talks to Anjali. Hehe…
K: So, are you planning for register marriage?
A: I don’t know if he will agree for that. I’m ready for anything though. I need to tell him about that...
K: Hmmm…
A: Hey, what’s that sound?
K: Oh…wait. That happens when-

Kiran: Now, what do you say Uncle?

PS: Kiran wanted evidence to prove the affair between Asha and Anoop. He called Asha and started a conversation. He himself brought the topic of 'Register Marriage' and he cut the call. He called back a minute later so that he can record the conversation and started as if its a new call and not as a continuation of the previous call. Asha wasn't smart enough to interpret the beep sound was of recording.

PPS: The End.

best friend can be your best enemy - 3

November 6th 2007 7:00 PM

Dad meets Anoop.

Dad: So, do you have any idea about what we were told about you and my daughter?
Anoop: I have no idea.
D: YOU HAVE NO IDEA?
A: No, I have no idea.
D: Is there anything between you and Asha?
A: No
D: Are you sure?
A: Yes.
Renjith: Anoop, tell him if there is anything between you and Asha. He just wants to hear it from you.
A: What are you talking about? There is nothing between me and her.
R: He has got proof.
A: What?
D: Don’t make-
A: I don’t love her.
R: He has proof. Anoop, look, he will agree this. He just wants to hear it from you. Just say the truth. He talked to Asha and she has confessed. That’s the reason he is asking you.
A: I need to talk to Asha. I want to hear it from her.
D: <SLAAPP> GET OUT OF HERE. I WILL KILL YOU IF I EVER HAPPEN TO SEE YOU AGAIN.

Dad meets Kiran.

Kiran: Uncle?
Dad: I talked to Anoop and also to Asha. What’s your interest in making any relation between Anoop and Asha?
K: My interest?
D: Yes, I heard its you who is spreading the rumor that Anoop and Asha is having an affair.
K: Spreading the news? It’s not me.
Dad: I talked to Renjith, Dileep, Karthick, Rahul, Sachin, Bijoy and everyone I could get a hold of and they all said it’s you. You son of a bitch! <SLAP>

best friend can be your best enemy - 2

November 4th 2007

Kiran: How are you Asha? How’s everything going? Are you people still fighting?
Asha: Haha…hey that happens with lovers you see. Find a girlfriend for yourself. You will know.
K: Hmmm…I can understand you people are still fighting a lot. Don’t you have any plans to get married? Or do you want to get married to him?
A: Of course. I love him. I want him to marry me. He wants too.
K: You think your parents will agree?
A: My dad will agree I’m sure. No idea about mom. Let’s see.
K: Why don’t you guys think of a register marriage?
A: Hmmm…that’s the last resort.
K: Hey, I will call you in a minute.

A minute later…

K: Hey, how are you?
A: I’m fine.
K: Oh…wait. That happens when I’m talking and charging at the same time. Don’t bother. I took it off.
A: Oh…okay. No problem. I just asked.

best friend can be your best enemy.

Let me confess the fact that what you are about to read could (or could not) be a fiction (or a non-fiction). You are not going to believe me anyway.

Those days…

Kiran: Hey, what happened? I saw 14 missed calls from you. Is there any problem?
Asha: Yes, Anoop scolded me and he does that all the time. He is getting on my nerve these days. I don’t know what to do.
K: Hey, he loves you a lot. Don’t get worried about him.
A: I know he loves me and all that but he gets too possessive about me and I hate that.
K: Hmm… I understand. Guys usually get possessive. You know how guys are.
A: I love him. I didn’t say I don’t. It’s just that…I don’t know. You know he told me not to talk to you also. He doesn’t like my having best friends and saying everything to you.
K: Oh…I didn’t know he asked you not to talk to me also. He is fine when he talks to me.

Anoop: Hey Ash, what have you been doing all this while? I didn’t even see a single message of yours. Got busy with your friends huh?
Asha: Oh please Anoop…don’t start all over.
Anoop: So, talked to Kiran? How’s he doing?
Asha: How’s your best friend Anjali doing? No news about her lately.
Anoop: See, you don’t have to bring Anjali into this. She is my friend and mine alone. Kiran is not someone like Anjali. He is a mutual friend.
Asha: So what? Who cares? He is my BEST FRIEND. I WILL TALK TO HIM.
Anoop: Why are you shouting? Who asked you not to talk? You can. You always can. But you don’t have to tell him everything. That won’t do us any good.
Asha: I don’t think so. I can’t help it. To me, he is just like Anjali is to you.
Anoop: You can’t trust someone blindly. I know him better than you do.
Asha: Whatever.

even i can write stories.

OK. Let me confess the fact that this post is a fiction.

I was getting so bored one day when I was sitting in the office – no work to do, yet a critical resource. I thought I’ll make some friends. I’ve an option to use some ‘Happy Hours’ in my office where I get to access commercial websites.

And then, I found this girl to chat with. I first sent a very casual email though I never expected a reply. Girls don’t reply to emails from strangers, you see. And then, just like I said, there was no reply. You know how guys behave when they find a girl. I sent another email, this time apologizing. Nope, she didn’t fall for that too. I underestimated this girl. I sent another email saying – even your best friends were strangers to you some day, just like I’m now.

I got a reply. And I replied and she replied and I replied and it went on and on. The first day we exchanged 28 emails. I didn’t have any bad intentions though. I knew she didn’t trust me enough as you can’t trust anyone online. Emails became continuous and then I invited her to chat. She accepted and then we chatted for hours and hours everyday. One day, I asked her mobile number and never expected she would respond the way she did. After all, it’s just a number. But it’s her mobile number. I wanted to talk to her. Desperately. I found a work-around. I gave her my number.

She got busy and we didn’t chat for a few days. One day I got a text message from an unknown number saying it was her number and she would come online after sometime. I suddenly replied saying ‘Now you trust me enough to share your mobile number, huh?’

Okay. Now, that was the start. We stopped chatting and started messaging. And then we talked. I wanted more. I wanted her to sing and she did. See, human beings are desperate. They are not happy with what they already have. Now that I got her number, I wanted to see her. And then I saw her, she saw me and blah blah blah...

I’m a dumbass when it comes to ‘flirting’. I didn’t mean to say she was an expert but we got close enough to compliment each other saying about our good qualities (if that can be called flirting). We were getting closer day by day. We wanted to chat always. I wanted her to keep in touch with me thru messages. Chatting, telephoning, emailing, flirting, possessiveness, love, like, this that… Just like you can imagine how couples would be.

But no, we haven’t proposed each other yet but we were sure that we loved each other. At least we don’t mind loving each other if not we haven’t loved each other as yet. I happened to be one of the good guys she happened to meet and after 89 thoughtful days she decided to say it first.

‘Hey, I want to tell you something so very important.’ She said.
‘What?’ I enquired.
‘Marry Me.’
‘WHAT?’ I was shocked.
‘I mean, listen to that song. It’s nice!’

PS: So, I had nothing to do for the whole day at office and the idea of making a new friend, messaging, talking, flirting tempted me to write this post. :D
