i laughed a lot today.

So, I got shifted to some other project and today was my last day there :| You know what? Changing locations from one place to another sucks. BIG TIME! :((

Company will shift you according to their wish to wherever they want. They might even kick you out without any sympathy. But the problem arises when you are planning to shift yourself to some other company. Managers come up with some stupid-theories and untrustworthy-promises to make you stay in the same company but with no hike or any such thing. Okay. Blaming company standards or practices is not the intention of this post :D

Today, as a part of Valentine's day, people in our bay conducted 'Love letter Writing competition'. khe khe khe...I thought it was easy and I took a pen, though I do not have much experience in 'writing' love letters. Literally. ;)

I never thought I would run out of words to write a love letter. I have written some blogs about love. But when somebody ask you to write a love letter, I'm sure, everyone would struggle a bit. Anyway, everything went good and I had a very nice time in the office.

Yes, chaos it was.

2 months back -
I wanted to release from project. My managers dint approve. I had to submit my resignation. They made lot of problems. They asked me to stay and serve the notice period. Meanwhile, My parents told me its a very bad time for me according to astrology.

Almost the same time, one of my friend got selected in the same company where i got selected. I felt happy for it. At least i got company. But for my confusion, I got an offer from another company but with a higher pay. I felt happier.

My managers was not releasing me from the project at all. They made lot of problems and they said they can relieve me only on Dec 7th. I told this to the companies which offered me job. They luckily were fine. My parents called me in between and said after consulting the astrologer that till Dec 7th its really very bad time for me. I was confused then. But that isnt the purpose of this post.

1 month back -
My friend which i mentioned earlier also got an offer from the same company again. Now, i was also confused to go where. 1st company is in a place near to my native place, just 4hrs away. 2nd company is in Chennai itself. But i decided to stay back in Chennai cuz now my 'company' is here for my friend cuz he rejected the 1st company. :(

Yesterday -
I informed the 1st company that I received another offer from another company and they are paying me more. So i would more likely join them if you wouldnt re-consider my pay structure. 1st company is in great danger now. They had scheduled the project and assignments and all those shits. They called me and asked for my expectation. As always, my expectations were too much for them but they assured they would provide the same offer 2nd company offered. And now i got a better offer and a better place also.

Today -
See how chaotic life is. But still i can see an order, the way things happened for a good cause.

Parliament, Minister, Collector, MP etc are some of the words which come to our mind when we hear the word 'Politics'. But there is a betta place for it...your WORKPLACE that is. It happens everywhere. Recently, what happens in a Software company is, they recruit people for their projects, make them work, recognize them, relieve them, fire them (if needed or not :P).

So-Called-Politricks can happen in any of these phases, startin from hiring to firing. People around you mite seem loyal, kind and committed and ofcos, a good friend. but is he / she as loyal or wateva you think they would be? NO! They are not! Politics is a trick. It comes as a package - Selfishness, Ego and money. Its there within everyone in the organization, but what really matters is, when its being used :|

You might never know when you are being back stabbed, but only when you become a victim. Recently one of my friend X got an opportunity to go On-site in ABC project. X did all the preparations and necessary procedures to process the VISA. It was a shock when X came to know that the opportunity jus skipped her and went to person Y. The funny part is, Y is no where related to ABC project and is from XYZ project. We were kinda confused. Only l8r, we came to know that it was a filthy-game played by Y and the Project Manager of ABC project. Just for these morons being frnds doesnt mean that they can play straight with the other's career.

It Shucks, BIG time. Happened to me too, once. i learned a lesson. it had 4 chapters ;)
1. Listen, but do NOT complain
2. Do NOT choose sides
3. If all else fails, remove yourself from the situation :|
4. BE CAREFUL, for you could be next :P
