it never works out the first time.

There is nothing more painful in this world than hearing from the person we love the most that she loves someone else. It doesn’t matter how much we love someone. There is always someone else who loves the same person more than we do.

I got an email from N asking me to stop disturbing D. I didn’t really understand what N actually meant by the word ‘disturbing’. How am I supposed to ‘disturb’ my wife-to-be? Even if I’m disturbing, I think I have the right to. Why does he care?

It was not a rude email, though I couldn’t digest it. Who on earth is N? I hadn’t even heard of him from her. I replied asking his contact number. I desperately wanted to talk to him. He gave his number and I called him the next moment. He sounded polite and cool. He was 4 years younger than me. He was a friend of D. Best friends I must say. He told me not to disturb D or her parents again. I was more than shocked. I was in US at the time. I’m wasting my money. I didn’t know what to do.

He was saying each and every word that I and D used to talk over the phone. How the hell he came to know about all that? He told me things I told D which I didn’t even remember. He said he has access to D’s email and he has seen all my emails. He also told me that D is not at all interested to get married to me. I asked why is not D saying this to me and why you? ‘She is afraid to tell you this and she is doing this for her parents. She doesn’t want to make her parents sad. She doesn’t want to insult them.’ – was his reply.

I didn’t utter a word. My heart sank. I asked him about his interest in our case. He said he can’t see D suffering. He warned me to drop this alliance. I asked if he loved her. He said he did and he loves her more than anyone else on the planet.

I called D and asked about N. Not even once had she mentioned about N. She is not in love with him but she fears of a life with me, a life like hell. That’s the word she used to mention how her life would be with me – HELL!

I didn’t say anything. I loved her a lot. I was on the verge of crying. Not because she is going to drop this but for using the word ‘Hell’. I asked her to explain it – What is that I did for her to say it would be hell? She kept mum.

I didn’t even think of dropping the alliance. I loved her. I wanted to marry her. I knew she loved me too somewhere deep inside her heart. I thought I would wait for her. I always wanted to marry the girl I meet first. I mean, the girl I meet which comes as an alliance. You know, it sucks to go meet a lot of girls and dropping them (or they dropping me) for some stupid reasons. I actually did forget about my 2-syndrome.

God’s plan would be completely different from our plans. It had to get dropped. I don’t want to mention the reasons here but I can assure you that it’s not because of the reason I mentioned before. See, how can it be hell? I’m not a bad guy you see. I think I’m good, not very good though. ;)

How would you feel if you hear those words from someone about the person you are going to get married – that he/she loves her/him more than anyone else?

I just want her to be happy whoever she gets married to. She is damn beautiful when she smiles.

PS: I apologize for the length of this post.

visa fuckin interview.

Okay. Probably this will be my first and last post for this month. I'm also on the verge of losing interest to update my blogs.

Few days back, I had my first every US VISA interview. I fucked it. Not that I screwed the interview. Actually my VISA got approved. But I fucked the fucking VISA formalities. My company arranged my accommodation in a hotel nearby US embassy. I was asked not to carry anything other than the file which they gave me and also my degree certificates just in case. I did exactly what they asked me to do. I dint even carry my wallet.

The guy who checks the VISA fee receipt and other details caught me saying the photo on the application is no good. My spectacle frame crosses my eye ball and for security reasons, they asked me to get another photo. FUCK! I ran back to my hotel room to get the money to take the photo.

It did not end there. I stood behind the queue again waiting for my turn. And now, the guy in the counter asked me to press my right-hand-finger-tips on god-knows-what. I pressed my finger tips as he said. Unfortunately he was a malayalee and after noticing my permanent address, he scolded me in malayalam asking to keep my hands proper blah blah blah.. I wanted to shout 'FUCK YOU!' What on earth finger-tips mean? It means finger fucking T-I-P-S. Not the whole finger. I was fucked. Thank god he dint have the authority to reject my VISA. That would be the last thing I want and the first thing he wanted. khe khe khe...

Luckily, my VISA got approved and flying to US on Sunday July 11th. OMG! My first ever travel outside India. Hope I wont screw it during the immigration check. khe khe khe...

happy birthday email...on April 1st.

It was not too tough for me to remember that email which I received 8 years back for it just had 'Happy Birthday to you on April 1st'. I was kind of shocked to read that email. I had just sent her a blank email on March 31st. She was actually my friend's girl friend ;)

I dont want to get into the story part of it. I just wanted to refresh my memories about her. She was once my very best friend. She got married and our friendship ended just like that. Our friendship would have turned 8 years old if she were with me now. Hmmm...

PS: This 'New Editor' sucks!

waiting for 'capital punishment'.

Have you ever been happy and sad at the same time? Today I happened to experience it. The news almost took my breath away. This is just the beginning. All I fear is, if this is just the beginning, how worse would be the end?

hope this idea will work :D

Me: OK. Hi... My name is Anoop. I've been watching you since last...hmmm I dono. You know, you look beautiful and maybe that's the reason I got attracted to you. I don't wanna take risk loving you just cuz you are beautiful. On the other hand I don't wanna lose you also for maybe you are good at heart too. I hope you are not committed. I wont be in this company for long. My last date here is April 16. So don't fear that I would be following you all the time. I wont ask your mobile number also. You can just drop the idea if you feel I'm not lucky enough to be your friend. So, can we be friends?

Girl: Oh my God! Who are you?!

Me: Sorry, I dint mean to give a shock or make this conversation this lengthy. I dint rehearse this and this is my first time.

Girl: Hmmm... What's your....?

Me: Wow! Thanks! My ID is 2*4*4*!

PS: This is a complete fiction. I saw this girl in the cafeteria and I was just dreaming how it would be if I just give her a shock like that. :D Will she respond the way that girl did in my dream? :P

PPS: Thanks to MS Office Communicator. Employees across the company can chat each other using their employee ID.

a beggar of me.

Few days back, when I was going back to Coimbatore from Cochin, I met a girl. To be frank, I noticed her cuz she was looking beautiful (but tensed?). She asked me if the bus was going to Coimbatore. I nodded yes. After few minutes she came to me again and said if she can borrow 50 bucks.

I was like, WHAT?! Her looks were charming and English fluent. I never expected her to ask for money. That reminded me of a situation, a situation which you may face any time.

Once me and my friends planned to go watch Thrissur Pooram. Its a very famous Pooram (English word? God knows what :D) in Kerala. We first went to my friend's home. Kept our things there and started for the amazing event. I dint forget to take the camera to click some snaps of the most anticipated fireworks. There can be lakhs of people to watch this and we dont know what types of people would be there. I dint take my wallet for that reason. We boarded the bus.

I was stunned to see the crowd for it was an ocean. we took each others hands for not to lose any in the crowd. But the knot dint last long. We got separated. I dint know where I was or where to go. I had no money also. All I knew was, the bus-ticket fare from my friend's house to this place was Rs.4.50. I dint even know the name of the place. I roamed here and there for hours and at last I decided. To Beg! OMG!

You will never know how the situation can change you, no matter how you look. It can squeeze the hell outa you. I had no choice then. I had to beg. I dint know whom to ask money. All I needed was 5 rupees. I asked some old people to work out their sympathy but they just gave me a weird look. 'Who is this stupid, asking for 5 rupees with a Nikon camera in his hand?'

I then aimed for people of my age-group. They could understand me better, I thought. At last I had to explain the full situation for one guy to give me 5 rupees. I dont have words to explain how happy I felt. I ran to the nearest bus stand and got into a bus. I gave tat money to the conductor and told him 'I have to go to my friend's place and that place is Rs.4.5 away from here'. Everyone in the bus were staring at me.

PS: I gave her Rs.50 and I smiled. I could see a smile on her face, the same smile which went thru my lips 6 years back.

PPS: BTW, I still have the balance precious-50-paise coin in my wallet.

my strange haircut.

I went to the barber shop and asked them to cut it short, too very short. They gave me a strange look. i dint bother. i just somehow wanted to get rid of my hair. I got surprised seeing myself in the mirror. I was like who-is-this? khe khe khe...

I went to the photo studio to take my passport size foto, for i gotto submit tat during the time of joining. I went there and ordered for 20 copies. They asked me to look at the foto n check if wat i asked them to print is right or wrong. I pointed to the file BX-44 and asked them to take prints of 'that'.
'Who is this?' the keeper asked me.
i gave him a strange look. 'Its me' i said. hmmm... embarrassing situation.

Same thing happened again. i went to the company to join there. i went there and they gave me the forms that must be filled on the DOJ. They asked me my photo copies and i gave them too. After sometime, senior HR executive called me up to his cabin and asked me my DOB, father's name mother's name, PAN card number and all those to check if i'm the real ME. khe khe khe.. it took me sometime to make them believe that it was really ME. :((

mY gOaT aNd hiS LiOn...

I was surprised to see a BMW M Series car parked in our car parking facility in our office. I dont have words to explain it. It was right beside my Honda Civic. Civic was much like a goat pleading for its life in front of a lion. OMG! I wanted to take a picture of it and put it here but by the time i took my mobile, i saw some ppl coming. I dint wanna take a risk. But the car was awesome. BMW has always been my Dream-Car. I always wanted to buy one and i strongly believe I will make enough money to get a BMW at the age of 40. I got 15 years to make 50 Lakhs. I will make it.

There were around 25 cars in our car parking facility. Even if one had owned all those, he can never feel proud of the one who owned a BMW. WoW! What-a-Car!

aSHaMeD, aiNT yOu..?

Lets name the characters Anjali n Nandini.
FACT:
They had to go out together n this story is happenin in Nandini's home. Anjali came to get some dresses from her so that she can wear it on her friends marriage. She borrowed some of her dresses and then asked for a fancy bag which Nandini had. Nandini refused cuz she already had it packed as she had to go out too.

A: *laid her eyes on the perfume bottle* 'Can i take it for myself?'
N: 'Hmm? Hahaa...'
*'N' smiled making it difficult to spot the sarcasm. 'A' was stupid enough too :P*
N: 'but i can give u that one.' *she said pointin to another bag of her*
Nandini left for a shower. After a while, they started for shopping. Midway, Nandini sighed about having left her mom's mobile phone on the dining table itself.

Next Day!
Nandini came back home n the first thing she did was searchin her mom's mobile phone. It was missing n was switched off also. Thieves are clever! She called me up n said about this. Nandini n Anjali were the only persons at home the day before n for sure Nandini is not a fool to steal her mom's mobile phone!

Nandini phoned Anjali. i reminded her not to give any clue that she s being doubted.
N: 'Hey Anjali, how are you? Did u happen to see me keepin mom's mobile phone anywhere else other than the dining table? Cuz i dont find it there now. i don remember actually'
A: 'i remember you sayin about it when we were in the bus. No, i dint see any white-mobile-phone.'
N: 'Okay. Thanks! Bye...'

Nandini called me after a while.
N: 'Hey, u know what? i cant find that perfume bottle also. OH MY GAWD!'
Me: 'Haha...great. She took it?'
N: 'Yea. She took both, mobile phone n the perfume. While i called her for askin about the mobile phone thing, she told me that she dint see any 'white-phone'. How did she know that the phone is white in color? And the same perfume she asked if she can take it for herself?'
Me: 'WHAT?' *i stood dumbstruck*

PS: Anjali borrowed everythin from Nandini and she stole her mobile phone n perfume n carried it in the very same bag Nandini gave her! See her GUTS! :O

PPS: Sorry for the lengthy post. i dint mean to :D

kNoWn...bUt yEt a sTrAnGeR...

Almost 10 years back...

She was in a hurry...she had to catch the train to reach Pune on time. it was already late. She picked up her handbag and said started to the rikshaw which was waiting outside.

she had to travel almost 4 hours to reach Pune from Bombay. She rushed to the ticket counter to get the ticket. Luckily there wasn't much of Q'.

She boarded the train but somethin seemed odd. The train was vacant than usual. Did she board the wrong train? Kinda No...for she boarded a Shatabdi train n there was no General Compartment. But luckily it was goin via Pune. She don usually panic in any situation n so she did then too. She had enough money to pay the fine. She waited for the TTR to come so that she could get the tickets soon without makin this an issue.

TTR came to her and asked her the ticket. She had kept the money ready, which she knew he eventually would ask and the unobvious happened. He dint ask for the money, but her name. Thinkin it maybe for the records, she said her name. Then he wanted to know where she stayed. She went panicking. The train (at least her compartment) was vacant and the train would only stop at Pune railway station. But she knew she ought to control the situation, for he could make this worse (cuz she dint hav the reserved ticket) and the train had to pass thru many tunnels...

He insisted her to call her 'Uncle' n his intentions were very clear to her but she couldnt help it. He asked her address in Pune for which she gave the fake one. He went so defensive when she asked his name or any details about him. (Tat proves his experience in this 'area'). Luckily she was sittin in the TTR - seat itself n it was a separate-from-other-seats seat. He compelled her to sit in some other seat cuz this was near the door. She kept on talkin with that guy n dint give a chance for him to talk. She stil wore a smile, yet panickin inside. She kept talkin for 4 hours continuously without even daring to go to the rest room.

Her most memorable moment this is. No girl could eva forget such an incident. i could feel the fear she had then for stil her voice shivers when she faced those moments when the train passed thru the tunnels stil talkin...

So, gals you be careful too... :)
